Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily lives and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. ~ President John F. Kennedy
Why PEP?
Paul the Apostle told us that we are to think like Jesus in that we are not to look out merely for our own interests, but also the interests of others. (Phil. 2)

Preparing students of character and competence is a benefit to society as well as to the individual student. The freedom that Americans have enjoyed since our nation’s founding will continue only as long as its citizens secure education in the laws of nature and nature’s God and extol the necessity of limited government over self-governing individuals.

At PEP, we believe that teens are able to do great things when they are rigorously challenged by the truth of Scripture and the great ideas of Western Civilization. These ideas have been the basis of liberty throughout the history of America. Teens in our culture have been “shackled by low expectations.” As a result, the next generation, without knowing it, may very well be the last generation of freemen on earth for years to come. This can be prevented.

We have seen that when the expectations are consistently high, that our students do, indeed, rise to the challenge. The result is that our students are prepared to be people of character and competence, well equipped to succeed in whatever calling they pursue. Our students carry with them a zeal for justice, virtue and freedom and a strong desire to impart those benefits to their society. It is their heritage. It is our duty as parents and Christians to help them persevere in this labor and succeed.
