Our experience in the college admissions process was surprisingly positive. Not only did our son's college preparation compare favorably with what was expected or required, many colleges we applied to (both secular and Christian) spoke of their experience that home schooled students frequently perform better in the college environment than their non-home schooled peers. In one interview at a major university, when presented with the reading curriculum and writing assignments our son had completed at PEP, the admissions officer said, "Wow, no student I have interviewed from any background has done this kind of work at the high school level!" Today, I wanted to inform you that I will be attending Xavier University in the fall. I found out that I had been awarded the full tuition scholarship worth just under $120,000. I never would have gotten here if it hadn't been for your help and for the help of my parents. Despite what I previously thought, the college application process looks less enormously difficult in hindsight, and I am very grateful to you for your help.

Dear PEP families and friends,
Most of us find ourselves swimming in all the details it takes to land our kids on a college campus after high school! I can tell you from experience that the senior year has lots of details and preparing early can really help. So, while the process was still fresh in our minds, Danielle and I put together a calendar to share and asked a couple other professionals to provide feedback. Please note that this is a general guideline and it may look a little different for your family, especially if you are wanting to play sports in college or attend a military academy.
Our hope is that this resource will be a blessing and feel free to share with non-PEP friends.

Remember that equipping students for a life of bringing God's truth to their future station in life culminates in PEP's final Core F year, giving these students a unique life and/or college advantage!
