Rhetoric I & II
Mrs. Barr received her B.A. in English Education (grades 6-12) from University of North Florida in 2009. During her internship she had the opportunity to teach at several schools, including Sandalwood and Fletcher High School. Mrs. Barr has been classically homeschooling since her oldest son was in 3rd grade and has homeschooled her three sons continuously ever since with an exception of two years where she taught at a private Christian school in Lake County. Mrs. Barr is passionate about teaching teens and guiding them in the wisdom of the Lord. This is her second year teaching at PEP.

Josh earned his PHD in Applied Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2016. He currently serves at the Family Pastor at Faithbridge church in Jacksonville FL. Josh has a passion to help young people grow toward spiritual maturity and actively engage in the mission of God around the world. His desire is to utilize his gifts, abilities and opportunities afforded to him to accomplish those goals to the glory of God. Josh is married to Lacey and they have two beautiful daughters, Emma and Ellie.
Starting Points, Western Thought III
Allen Cagle serves as the Senior Pastor at Sunrise Community Church in Atlantic Beach, FL. He has a BA in Biblical Studies from the University of Mobile and an M.Div. from The Masters Seminary (Los Angeles, CA). He recently received his Doctorate of Ministry in Applied Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Allen has served in associate pastor positions in Los Angeles, CA and Mobile, AL before moving to Jacksonville in January 2013 to serve at Sunrise Community Church. Allen enjoys teaching, specifically teaching God's Word, and is excited to be able to share his passion for the Lord with teens! Allen and his wife Mindy have three children — Kate, Jacob, and Karis.

Miss Chappell was homeschooled through her high school education. She went on to earn a BA in Music, with a minor in Music Performance from Florida State University. She has a passion for music and for teaching and is glad to be sharing her love for teaching since joining PEP in 2016. She is a multi-talented teacher who is loved by her students.
Algebra I
Sara Chappell received a Bach. of Music Performance (Cello) from Lawrence University of Wisconsin and a Master of Music Performance from the Eastman School of Music (University of Rochester, New York). She has performed professionally in several symphony orchestras and has taught instrumental music for many years. Sara and her husband Chris homeschooled their four children for their entire pre-college education. Their youngest child graduated from PEP in 2017. For the past eleven years, Sara has taught high school math classes in the Jacksonville homeschool community. She has a passion for math and science, as well as music, and enjoys imparting to students a greater knowledge of the glory of God expressed in His order and beauty in creation.
Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III
Sra. Dayton grew up in Cuba and moved to the USA at the age of 16. She was blessed with Christian parents and grandparents who taught her to love the Lord and His word. From a very early age she had two passions, being a Spanish teacher and serving the Lord as a missionary. The Lord in His grace has granted her both. She served for over 20 years as a pastor’s wife and missionary in Miami, Ecuador and Mexico and has been teaching Spanish for the past 14 years, having joined PEP in 2015.
Geography, Saxon 8/7
Luann Eiginger has a Bachelor of Music Education from Samford University and a Master of Music Education from Indiana University. She has been involved in the performing arts for many years and has experience in speaking before groups of all sizes. She is currently working at First Baptist Church as an accompanist and a piano teacher in the Performing Arts Center. Her desire in teaching at PEP is to instill a love for the Lord through the study of fine arts and communication.

Sophie Farthing received her B.A. in English at Thomas Edison State University and her M.A. in History at Liberty University. She is involved in the music team and women's outreach at her church, Community Bible Church of Orange Park. She believes that God has given each student unique gifts and strengths, and that a caring, relational environment is essential to education.
Composition & World Literature (Core B)
Bronwyn received her BA in Art History from the University of North Florida in 1995. She worked as a flight attendant for many years before entering the next chapter of her life, homeschool mom. She has homeschooled her three children for the last 12 + years, and two of them are excelling as current PEP students. Through her homeschooling journey, she has developed a passion for composition and literature and brings with her a love of teens.
Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey
Christine received a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 1987 and worked in a private counseling practice and an inpatient treatment facility until the birth of her first daughter over 20 years ago. Since that time, she has been teaching Bible studies for women, teens, and youth in the church and throughout the community. She also speaks at various women’s and leadership events and assists her husband with business administration and marketing. In addition to life with her husband and two daughters (both PEP graduates), her greatest joy is spending time in God’s Word and sharing it with others. She is thrilled to be a part of the PEP program as a tutor at multiple campuses, as well as the administrator of the St. Johns campus.
Logic
Dabney is thrilled to be returning to PEP as a tutor this year. She received her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Memphis, and has taught in Christian schools and tutored privately for over 35 years. She is the proud mom of 6 children adopted from Mexico and Moldova, 2 of whom attended PEP while homeschooling. Her greatest joy in teaching comes from helping students discover how all knowledge points us back to our Creator, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the Lord Jesus Christ. Dabney and her photographer husband,Jeff, can frequently be found on outdoor adventures, enjoying the beauty of Creation while kayaking or hiking.

Mr. Hough has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and American Government from North Carolina State University. In his four-year tour in the US Navy, he served as an Engineering Officer and Navigator. During his service, Mr. Hough also functioned as Education Services Officer and assisted sailors in gaining college credits and degrees. His passion for teaching and unique experience allows him to teach sciences, math, philosophy, and theology from a grounded biblical view. He continues to serve in various capacities for his home church, Sunrise Community Church. Mr. Hough is married to Morgan, and they have three children (Jonathan, Esther, and Zeke).

Ashley Hoye has a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL, where she majored in Illustration. She has been drawing since she could hold a crayon. Recently, she has completed two children's books and a painting for Billy Joel. She is involved at the Church of Eleven22 with her husband who is also an artist.
Geometry, Algebra II, Calculus
Laurie has a BA in Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida. She has been teaching high school, tutoring, and working with homeschooled students for over 16 years. She is a returning PEP tutor and brings a love for teenagers and a clarity of explanation for difficult topics to the classroom. She helps out at her church by keeping the books and playing the piano along with her daughter who plays the guitar.
World History, Ancient History (Core D), Medieval-Early Modern History (Core E), Modern History (Core F)
Heidi Manzone has a B.A. in History/Literature from the University of North Florida and a Master in British History from UNF. She has been teaching history at the University of North Florida since 1997 and has been teaching middle/high school for over ten years. In addition, she has been with PEP since the program came to Jacksonville in 2007. She also serves her church as the Director of Christian Education and has spent many years homeschooling her sons. Her oldest graduated from PEP in 2014 and is now a music major at UNF, while her youngest still attends PEP. Heidi loves God, loves to teach, and loves to work with young people and feels blessed to be able to combine all three passions through PEP.

Joanne Mastronicola brings 20+ years experience to PEP. She loves science and teenagers and has had the pleasure of teaching both for many years. In addition, she works with homeschooling families in various capacities – serving with both state and local organizations. She is the author of Piecing Together the High School Puzzle and blogs occasionally. She is slowing working through her graduate studies as time allows.
Pre-Algebra, Statistics, Personal Finance, ACT/SAT Prep
Lynne Hurley Norris is the founder and CEO of Diligent Solutions, LLC. She has been privately teaching and tutoring for over 35 years (4 years here in Jacksonville with local Christian schools). Mrs. Norris specializes in math, specifically all algebra, geometry, statistics, as well as ACT/SAT Math Prep, and introductory level college business courses like Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, and Management. Mrs. Norris' prior professional life included 20 years in the banking industry. She earned an MBA from Johns Hopkins University and holds a BBA in Finance from Loyola University. Mrs. Norris has been married to her husband, Michael, for 14 years. They have a 12 year old daughter, Liliana.
American History, Western Thought I
Susanna Peveto brings high energy to PEP as she teaches History to the upper Cores. She has her B.A. in Political Science from Samford University and was employed as a stockbroker for many years. Susanna and her husband are active members of Celebration Church and have adopted their two teenage sons through the foster care system. In her free time, she teaches junior and senior high classes for Bible Study Fellowship.
Composition and American Literature (Core C)
Ashley Workman is an eternal student who loves writing, literature, and the Spanish language. She received her B.A. in English with a Spanish minor from the University of North Florida. Her love for teaching began when she was a teen on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. She has tutored privately and taught Composition & Literature and Spanish for many years, and is thrilled to share her passion for the Lord through teaching at PEP. Ashley has been married since 2006, and she and her husband have one sweet little girl.
Earth Science, Life Science
Pam earned her BS from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2011. Since then she has worked in the education field, teaching children as well as working for The Arc, where her ability to communicate and understand the needs of her students was invaluable. She has a love of learning, and in particular, a love of science. Pam is involved with teen discipleship ministry and loves how PEP’s education is an extension of discipleship.
