Matthew Slagel earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University, Dayton, OH in 2004. He works for L-3 Communications Cincinnati Electronics in Mason, OH as a space design mechanical engineer. He has been involved with work that involves NASA, JPL, and ATK. This work involves delivering avionics and spacecraft units to be utilized in launch rockets, and satellites. Matt married his wife, Marcia, in 2007 and became a father in early 2011.
