His work experience includes: Field Engineer, Export Sales Manager, Jr. High Math and Science teacher (19 years), Walnut Hills HS Math Teacher (6 years), Mathematics Specialist, Cincinnati Public Schools (5 years), Math and Biology teacher at Regional Institute of the Torah and Secular Studies (1 year), home school extension tutor of Algebra I, II, and Geometry Problem Solving, Logic I&II, American Covenant, Art History, Literature, Western Thought, Christian Apologetics, Christian worldview, Bible and Old Testament Survey. Bruce is also an advisor to the PEP Curriculum Committee.

Teresa Coffindaffer-Genesis Thought -- Core A, Old Testament Survey -- Core B
Teresa Coffindaffer has a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. Most of her Bible training has been through Precept Bible Studies. She has also attended a Genesis & Isaish Bible Study in Chattanooga, TN. Other studies with teens include the "Lord" series from Precepts as well as many studies with ladies Bible study. She is a seasoned homeschool mom with a heart for serving the Lord.

Todd Collins holds an undergraduate degree in Biology, with a heavy emphasis in Chemistry, Physics, and Electrical Engineering. He holds an MS in computer science with an emphasis in artificial intelligence. He has been a homeschooling father for more than 20 years.

Traci DeBra -- Composition and Literature (Core C)

Traci DeBra has a BA in Literature and Secondary Education. For more than a decade, she has instructed junior high and high school composition and literature classes in both the public and private sectors. Mrs. DeBra also published articles as a freelance writer, and provided private tutoring for students in need of extra writing assistance. Her passions are her Savior, her family, and teaching students to look for God's hand in their lives and the world around them.

Dave French-Chemistry
Dave French has taught Chemistry at Milford High School for the past 22 years. Prior to that he was a youth worker in the inner city. He has a Masters in Science Education. He has been active in the past leading Bible studies for teen guys, teaching Sunday school, and serving in various leadership roles. He is currently participating in Men's ministry at Faith Church as well as the Marriage Ministry. Dave and his wife Jennifer have homeschooled their four children, who all have attended PEP. |

Sarah Furia -- SAT PREP (Spring Semester Only)
Sarah Furia has a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Analysis from Miami University and a Masters in Math from the University of Cincinnati. She was a high school Math Teacher for five years before working at PEP and loves helping her students enjoy the beauty, order, and structure of mathematics.

Liisa Futoran holds a BA in History and a minor in Education from Covenant College. She has taught History, Government, Bible, P.E., and Music at schools in California, North Carolina, and Germany. Liisa has a passion for history and sharing the Truth through her lessons at PEP and her everyday walk. |

Pastor Chuck Hickey- Western Thought II
Chuck Hickey has been in pastoral ministry for ten years and the pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Northern Kentucky (PCA) for the past 4 years. He has a Bachelor’s of Divinity degree from Whitefield Theological Seminary and a Master’s Certification in Law from the University of California at Los Angeles. Pastor Hickey did undergraduate work at Cedarville College and Los Angeles Baptist College. Chuck and his wife Lorrie are avid home school supporters having homeschooled their three children, who are now adults. Chuck has a heart for Church planting and enjoys teaching people of all ages and hopes to start an extension of PEP in Northern Kentucky in the near future.

Nancy Holton --Geometry and Calculus
Nancy Holton has a Bachelor of Arts from Wilmington College and a Masters of Education from Xavier, with a Math Major. She has been employed as a Individualized Instruction Supervisor at Union Bible College, as a math instructor at GBS High School in Cincinnati, as a tutor and substitute teacher, and recently as a math aide at Live Oaks.

Patty Hunt -- Algebra I and Algebra II
Patty Hunt holds a B.S. in Mathematics Education from Bowling Green State University. She taught middle school and high school math from 1974-1979. She has taught Mathematics, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Patty has been home schooling since 1986 until the present.

Marilyn Lebhar -- Art Junior, Art and Art History I and II
Marilyn Lebhar holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from Bucknell University. She was a graphic designer for seven years before being blessed with two sons. At Mars Hill Academy, she developed the fine arts and art history curriculum for the 1st through 8th grades, which she then taught for 3 1/2 years. After an exciting overseas assignment to Costa Rica, where she taught art to home schoolers and also studied watercolor, she returned to the States we are now blessed to have her teaching at PEP.

Don Lynn -- Ecology
Donald Lynn earned a Bachelor of Science, Agriculture, Ohio University, 1967 and a Masters of Education, (concentration in biological science) Xavier University, 1973. In addition he has completed 150 education hours from various institutions, among which are University of Akron, University of Cincinnati, Walsh University. He taught 35 years for Loveland City Schools (freshman science, Earth Science, Biology, Honors Biology and Ecology.) He was the Science Department Chair. He is presently the co-coordinator of the LHS Ecology Club and overseeing the continuing development of a freshwater wetland and arboretum on the LHS campus.

Jodi Magee-- Latin I

Graduating from Miami University in 1972 with a BA in History, Jodi Magee educated her five children at home from 1986 to 2009, and redeemed her own education in the process. With three years of Latin study in high school, Jodi realized the value of Latin. She pursued the study of Latin with her children within her home school, and is committed to share the benefits of the Latin language within the home school community. During the 2009-2010 school year she tutored a core of six subjects including Latin at Classical Conversations in Anderson Township.

Lisa McAfee -- Geography
Lisa McAfee has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Miami University and has taught for many years, including three years at PEP, four years at Cincinnati Christian Schools and at other co-ops. She has home schooled her children and her passion for missionaries will make geography come alive for her students when they visit her class. |

Marty Martin -- Saxon 8/7 and Pre-Algebra
Marty Martin has an associates degree in computer science from U.C. After working with her husband in a family computer consulting business, she “retired” to have a family and home school for 18 years. She has recently tutored for Kid’s Helping Kids, private and public high school students in the areas of Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Pre-Calculus, Geometry, and Advanced Math.

Elizabeth Mock -- Starting Points, Logic, Rhetoric I, and Writer's Guild
Elizabeth Mock received a BA in Writing and Philosophy from Geneva College. She taught 9th grade English for two years at Petersburg High School in Virginia. Miss Mock is a wonderful asset to the Tutor Team at PEP. Elizabeth has a passion for the Lord and brings a wealth of Biblical Worldview knowledge to share with her students. |

Mary Beth Nesteroff Composition and Literature Core B and American History Core C

Mary Beth Nesteroff graduated from Miami University with a BA in Vocal Performance and minor in English Literature. She continued on to earn an English Literature degree at Northern Kentucky University, and is currently working on obtaining her teaching certificate. Along with taking extensive collegiate classes, Ms. Nesteroff attended an in depth worldview seminar known as Summit Ministries in Colorado Springs. This experience, along with numerous others, has given her the tools to build a solid, Christian worldview. Ms. Nesteroff loves kids and is very excited to pass down her passion for literature and communication. |

Krista Nunez--Composition and Ancient Literature, Rhetoric and Literature II
Krista Nunez is a member of Faith Church and a graduate of Clermont Northeastern High School. She has a degree from Miami Univ. in Secondary Education, English (’98), and then attended Indiana Wesleyan University to get her Masters in Education (’07). Krista has taught English in the public high school setting for eight years in the Milford area. Before teaching stateside, Krista spent two years with Campus Crusade for Christ in the Balkans and Oxford, Ohio area in order to reach, train, and equip student leaders to grow and share their faith. Krista also invested two years in Funehiki, Japan teaching English as a second language within three public junior high schools as an evangelistic ministry through the only Christian church in the city. Bringing her much joy is her devoted husband Steve, her daughter, and soon to arrive son. |

JoAnn O'Bernier-Biology
Jo Ann graduated from Central Washington University with her BA in biology in 1983. She received a major in Broad Area Science and a minor in chemistry. Her teaching experience includes honors chemistry, chemistry, biology, physics, physical science, and math for public high schools.
The O'Bernier's are active members at Pleasant Hills Baptist Church where they have taught Sunday School and been youth workers for many years. Jo Ann enjoyed home educating her two daughters for seven years and is looking forward to sharing her gifts with the students at PEP.

Vickie Ruelmann has a B.A. in English from the University of Louisville. She taught for 2 years in Jefferson County Schools in Louisville, Kentucky and another 2 years in Cincinnati Public Schools. Vicki taught the high school students at her church. It is her joy to teach and to mentor students. Vicki's walk with the Lord began when she was 8 years old. She is involved in a Precept Bible study and is a member of Kenwood Baptist Church.

Tracie Russell -- Spanish II, III, IV and V
Tracie Russell has a degree in Spanish Literature and Language from the University of Cincinnati. She has traveled extensively throughout Spain, Mexico, and South America for her job and for pleasure. She is the Spanish language book buyer for an international book company in Cincinnati. She also teaches Spanish I – IV at several area co-ops in Cincinnati and loves to teach students about loving God in another language!

Linda Sebastian -- Life Science, Space and Earth Science
Linda Sebastian is a Milford High School graduate who has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Ohio University and a Masters Degree from the University of Delaware. She has a love for science and was a co-leader of an after school science club for several years. She has many years of experience teaching, but has spent the last 25 years teaching Gifted Students locally. Linda was baptized into Christ at age 9 and has been involved with her church ever since. She has a servant's heart for furthering the Kingdom and we will be blessed by her skills and insight in the PEP classroom. |

Tracy Southworth -- Spanish I
Tracy Southworth Tracy Southworth has a BA in Elementary Education from Asbury College. She has taught in Christian schools and homeschool co-ops for over 20 years. She has a passion for missions and delights in teaching students Spanish with the hope that they may some day want to use the language to reach out and make a difference for the Kingdom.
