Michael Brad was homeschooled through junior high and high school. He has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from The Master's University. He works as a part time guitar instructor, serves as an elder at Redeemer Community Church, and aspires to be a church planter one day. He lives in Mason with his wife, Jenn, and their son, Calvin.

Lydia Brashear has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish & Education (University Scholar, magna cum laude) and a Master of Education degree, with a concentration in Spanish, from Xavier University. Before becoming a mom, she taught Spanish II and III at Marlborough High School and K-5 Spanish at Cincinnati Country Day School. She and her husband Jim have been homeschooling their two daughters for nine years. The Brashears have been members of Kingdom Builders Homeschool Co-op since 2012 where Lydia has taught Beginning Spanish, Informal Logic, Spanish I, and Spanish II.
Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey
Teresa Coffindaffer has a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. Most of her Bible training has been through Precept Bible Studies. She attends Precept Bible programs in Chattanooga, TN regularly. Along with tutoring at PEP, she has co-led a Precept ladies Bible study for more than 15 years. All of her 3 children were homeschooled. Her eldest has earned a PHD in Molecular Biology, her middle daughter graduated with honors from Cedarville University and her youngest presently is earning a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at UC. She has been married to her husband, Tim, for 30 years.

Jenna graduated from the Honors College at Indiana Wesleyan University with degrees in history and philosophy. Her passion for people and their stories began when she was a student at PEP. When not teaching, Jenna loves reading and traveling with her husband, Andrew.
Shannon Hancock has a degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. Married to Mike since 1998, they have 2 children whom she homeschooled for six years. Their son is a 2019 PEP graduate and their daughter is currently attending PEP. Shannon attends biblical counseling training through ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) regularly and has a passion for discipling and teaching ladies. She also has a passion for missions and serves as Missionary Care Team Co-coordinator at her church of 18 years, Grace Baptist Church, Mason, Ohio. Shannon considers lifelong learning to be a benefit from studying and applying God's Word to every subject and situation in life. Her goal is to pass that passion on to her students. She has also enjoyed tutoring many students after school and teaching an 8th grader with special needs for one academic year. Spending time with her family, traveling, drawing, painting, reading, camping, hiking, and biking are things Shannon is thankful to enjoy.

Karen is thrilled to be part of the Milford campus this year. She has been with PEP since 2012, working in a variety of capacities including tutoring many different classes. Discovering her passion for classical education after studying accounting at the University of Cincinnati, she homeschooled her own three children from grades K - 12. As an active participant in the Northern Kentucky homeschool community, she has filled many roles including directing several theater productions and a drama club.
Paul graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Horticulture. As a horticulturist in Memphis, he taught adult continuing ed classes in gardening and botanical sciences. For the past 23 years, he has been homeschooling. He has tutored at Classical Conversations and other homeschool co-ops. Married for 34 years to Laura Kingsley, they have 8 sons; the youngest 3 are now attending PEP. Paul believes that as much of the world embraces alternatives to Biblical accounts of creation, studying the life sciences can build a strong foundation to see God’s eternal power and divine nature, equipping students with a Biblical perspective to all sciences.

MaryEllen has homeschooled her children since 2005. After working through several different types of curriculum, she finally found what she was searching for in the classical model of education. With a love of learning and passion for tutoring, MaryEllen brings both enthusiasm and experience to the PEP classroom. By serving in the classroom, she desires to come alongside parents in raising a generation to love and serve the Lord.
World History, US Constitution (Gov't)
Jim and his wife Roxanna are long time West Chester residents. Jim is a United States Marine Corps veteran and he still holds to his oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution. He is the Chairman of Building Blocks For Liberty (BBFL). Building Blocks for Liberty is 501c3 non-profit educational organization dedicated to the preservation of the U.S. Constitution by teaching others the importance of this historical document that governs our nation. To date, BBFL has taught over 50 one day Constitution Boot Camps in southern Ohio, including Columbus, Xenia, Dayton, SE Indiana, Northern Kentucky and Texas.
Algebra II, Pre-Calculus
Katie graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Secondary Math Education and an endorsement in Earth Science. She taught math for seven years at Wyoming Middle School until having her first of four children, when she decided to stay home to be a full-time mother. Starting at Wyoming, and then in the years after she left the classroom, Katie kept her math skills sharp by tutoring middle, high school, and college students. She really loves working with students in small groups and one-on-one to find what works best to help them. Katie grew up in Boston before coming to Miami where she also played soccer for the Miami University Redhawks. She continues to coach teams locally. You’ll often find her with her family on the soccer field or enjoying some other outdoor activity.

Elizabeth Marinkovic received a BA in Writing and Philosophy from Geneva College. She taught 9th grade English for two years at Petersburg High School in Virginia and is now in her 9th year of teaching at PEP. Elizabeth authored a fantasy novel (available on Amazon) called Shatter: The Children of Man and a sequal Render, and is currently working on a YA fiction series. She has a passion for the Lord and brings a wealth of Biblical Worldview knowledge to share with her students.
Biology, Anatomy & Physiology
Jennifer graduated from Calvin College with a B.S. in Biology. She also has a M.S. from Indiana University. It was at Calvin that she met her husband, Tom, on the college swim team. They have been married over 18 years and have three children, Katie, Matthew, and Carolyn. Jennifer worked in the field of cardiac rehabilitation before “retiring” to stay home with their children, who are currently homeschooled. She was a Classical Conversations tutor for four years prior to tutoring for PEP. She has been involved with women’s Bible studies for more than 12 years and is a member of Faith Church.
Chemistry, Advanced Physics, Organic Chemistry
Emily has had a lifelong appreciation for science, teaching, and research. She graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Fresno with a BS degree in molecular biology and a minor in cognitive psychology. As an undergraduate, she conducted summer research in immunology, microbiology, behavioral and cognitive psychology, scanning tunneling microscopy and genetics; she also published research in the Journal of Experimental Psychology, and co-authored a chapter on scanning tunneling microscopy. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in instructional design and technology at University of Cincinnati. Emily has had the joy of teaching high school chemistry, physics, anatomy & physiology, and pre-engineering classes to homeschool students over the last ten years and is thrilled to tutor chemistry and conceptual physics during her third year at PEP. As a former Darwinian evolutionist, Emily loves to state the scientific case for a Creator in her classes, considering the arguments posited by the intelligent design movement as much more credible and in fact, better science.
Math 7, Pre-Algebra, Earth Science
Erin received her B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2000 and her M.S. in Health Promotion from Purdue University in 2003. It was at Virginia Tech that she met her husband, Aaron, through campus ministry. Upon graduation from Purdue, she decided to stay home and become a full-time mom. Erin now has 4 children and has been a part of the homeschooling community for over 5 years, participating in various co-ops. She is a member of Parkside Christian Church where she volunteers as a preschool worship leader, Bible Bowl coach, and librarian. Erin is also part of a missional community that reaches out to and loves on the Beech Acres Parenting Center as well as the foster and adoptive families of the church.
Western Thought II & III
Cal Puckett is the Pastor of Redeemer Community Church in Loveland, OH. RCC is a new church plant out of Grace Baptist Church. He graduated from Baptist Bible College in 2001 with his Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry and received his Master's Degree from Liberty University in 2009. He and his wife Tiffani have been married since 2000 and have three children.
Christine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Miami University. While homeschooling since 2007, she enjoys teaching various classes at multiple local homeschool co-ops and also teaching private piano lessons in her home. She and her husband Brian have three sons, with the oldest attending PEP and they are active members at First Baptist Church of Glen Este.
Sherriann Robinette earned her BA in Mathematics/Secondary Education from Grove City College. She taught math for two years at Cincinnati Christian Schools, followed by five years at Purcell Marian High School. Since the birth of her first child, she has been a stay at home Mom to her two boys, while also privately tutoring many students. Geometry is her favorite subject!
