Jennifer Brad

Jennifer has a degree in Accounting Technology from Miami University. She has worked with middle and high school students in math and science tutoring as well as ACT prep for six years. She also works part time with Bricks 4 Kidz as an after school enrichment teacher at local elementary schools. She and her husband, Michael, have been married since 2012.
Michael Brad

Michael Brad was homeschooled for most of his life. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Biblical Studies through Boyce College. He works as a full time guitar instructor and aspires to be a church planter one day. He and his wife, Jenn, have been married since 2012.
Clayton England
Western Thought I
Clayton England holds a B.A. in Government and History from Western Kentucky University, as well as a Masters in Theological studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He brings 25 years of experience teaching college students and adults how to think biblically. Spending time with his wife and four children is one of his greatest joys. When he finds free time, he enjoys reading authors such as A.W. Tozer, Alvin Plantinga, Charles Spurgeon and Francis Schaeffer.
Lisa England

Lisa received her BS in Education from the University of Cincinnati. Upon graduating, she spend the next 20 years working with Campus Crusade for Christ, beginning with high school ministry, and moving to college and international ministry after meeting her husband Clayton. Together raising four children, Lisa has home schooled classically for 12 years. The two oldest are thriving at PEP. With a heart for discipleship and a passion to equip students to reason and communicate truth out of an overflowing love for Christ, Lisa is honored to invest in the students of PEP.
Mary Ellen Lees
Composition & World Literature (Core B), Logic
MaryEllen has homeschooled her children for 11 years. After working through several different types of curriculum, she finally found what she was searching for in the classical model of education. With a love of learning and passion for tutoring, MaryEllen brings both enthusiasm and experience to the PEP classroom. By serving in the classroom, she desires to come alongside parents in raising a generation to love and serve the Lord.
Lisa McAfee
Geography, World History
Lisa McAfee has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University and has taught for many years, including 8 years at PEP, 4 years at Cincinnati Christian Schools, and many homeschool co-ops. Married to her college sweetheart, Lisa homeschooled her children from kindergarten through senior high. Her love for the Lord and junior high students make her classes come alive.
KARIN MERRELL
Composition and World Literature (Core A)
Karin Merrell has a Bachelors of Science in English and Communications Education (7-12) from Miami University and a Masters of Science in Higher Education from Indiana University. After working at Ohio University and The University of Cincinnati, she and her husband homeschooled their five children. During this time, she has taught Latin, literature, science and other classes at The Learning Tree Co-Op and YMCA and now loves teaching Composition and World Literature at Springdale. Her deep desire is to please God and serve the homeschool community to the best of her ability by teaching the next generation.
Karen Savage
Life Science, Conceptual Physics, Biology
Karen Savage lives in Kettering, Ohio with her husband and 3 boys, whom she has homeschooled for 6 years. She has a B.S. in Biological Sciences as well as a M.Ed. in Life Sciences and Chemistry. Karen has taught in the public school system as well as in homeschool coops for over 4 years and currently holds the office of Apiary Inspector for both Greene and Montgomery counties. This position has afforded her the opportunity to be involved in field research and data collection as well as education on both community and governmental levels, sharing her passion for science in a variety of ways. Karen is passionate about learning and imparting her appreciation for God and His creation to anyone who will listen. She loves Jesus and is continually in awe of His goodness and faithfulness, which she readily shares with her students. She is thankful for the opportunity and trust given to her to help train and disciple PEP students. Karen looks forward to her first year with PEP and stands wholeheartedly in PEP’s vision and mission to raise the next generation to further the gospel and impact culture in a substantial way.
Ing Wan Steiner
Algebra I & II
Ing Wan Steiner was born and raised in Malaysia and came to the United States after high school to attend Bowling Green State University, where she received her BS in Computer Science and a Master of Applied Statistics and Mathematics. She and her husband moved to Cincinnati to help plant a church and also homeschooled their three children for 12 years. She teaches high school math at co-ops, offers private tutoring, and runs summer math camps.
MARK STEINER
CAD Software & 3D Printing
Mark graduated from Lima Technical college with an associates in Electronics Engineering to begin a career in designing electronic equipment along with software to create cool products. He then graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors in computer science where he then moved to Cincinnati along with his new wife, Ing-wan Steiner, to help plant a church. Mark has spent 25 years developing software and products for several companies, finally starting his own business, Tru-Linker Company, that manufactures and sells food processing equipment.
Cynthia Tann
Spanish I & II
Cynthia Tann has a three year certificate in Theology and Christian Education from Faith School of Theology in Charleston, Maine as well as a B.A. in Spanish from Miami University. She has been teaching all levels of high school Spanish for the Mason Co-op for the last five years. Her passion and desire is to see students learn Spanish so that they can share Christ with the growing population of Spanish speaking people who live around us and who don’t know Christ. She has also been home educating her children for 9 years.
Mike Williams
American History
Prior to PEP, Mike worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic for 6 years for the City of Fairfield and Colerain Township. He has completed
two years of Bible college in Educational Studies and is finishing his Theological Studies in preparation to be a pastor. Mike currently serves as a youth leader in his home church and has a strong desire to help train the next generation to have a sound education founded in the Word of God.
